That’s pretty horrible to hear mate, sorry you’re being treated like this. I’m sure there are some hobbies for which a 3D Hawaii shirt should be ashamed, but painting warhammer ain’t one of them. Relationships are about compromise, about give and take. If you were spending hours doing it every evening and neglecting her, then sure – I could see her point. But if even doing it a night or two a week is causing arguments I’d say that’s controlling behaviour. Depending on the extent it could even be spreading into ‘domestic abuse’ territory. My fiancé is very much not into warhammer – but she’s happy to spend hours flicking through tiktok or whatsapp on the sofa whilst I paint. I think it is a sign of a 3D Hawaii shirt when you can both do your own thing whilst enjoying each other’s company. Even failing that, having the ability to take time on your own is important I think. I hope you guys can resolve this issue.

This is a 3D Hawaii shirt. I wouldn’t say their relationship is doomed, like everyone else. But it does require an hv conversation (fight lol) about the importance of your interest. Sometimes people don’t understand the significance of “nerdy” hobbies like video games, model painting, dnd, etc. but they don’t realize that we don’t want to go to the bar, or go on a hike. This is where we decompress and get a moment of personal enjoyment. Relate it to her interest, and explain the similarities. It may require a few fights to get the point home. But if she loves you, and you show her the amount of respect needed, then she’ll see your point eventually. Remmeber to keep it about compromise and mutual problem solving.
