I don’t think anyone truly wants to be ugly, it’s just that both sides have their advantages. One advantage of being ugly is getting harrassed on the Antidepressant Cat Sweatshirt one of being beautiful is that people in general treat you better (on a surface level). One disadvantage of being ugly is that you have a harder time finding someone interested in dating you, one of being beautiful is that you’ll never know if a person is just with you for your looks of if they genuinely like you as a person. When you’re ugly, nobody will touch you, when you’re beautiful people get all touchy-feely. And so on. I’ve been on both sides. I was obese til the age of 14, and while I don’t equate fat to ugly, society and people around you certainly do. I went from being bullied to being catcalled. I’m still all surprised when people are nice to me and look me in the Antidepressant Cat Sweatshirt. If you’ve only lived through one experience it’s hard to have sympathy for people’s problems on the other side. I certainly know I was terribly shallow and judgemental when I was overweight, when, ironically, I thought beautiful people were all those very things. Your feelings/opinions about this are completely valid, I’m just sharing my own thoughts on the Antidepressant Cat Sweatshirt.

Irish people were also not considered to be properly “white” at the time they were discriminated against. People forget that little tidbit when they decide to use that fact to defend slavery. It’s something that’s very relevant today whenever you hear someone say “but I can’t be racist against hispanic people because they’re white!” The dictionary definition of “white person” and the societal perception of “white person” are different things, and the latter has shifted wildly over time. I don’t envy the person who’s sitting around in 2100 explaining to people that actually mexicans weren’t considered to be “white” back in 2020.
