They are ignoring the insane amount of gun homicides in dominantly black cities like Chicago. They are ignoring the fact that young black males (around 6% of our population) accounts for a massive, disproportionate amount of our annual convicted gun homicides which is 52.4%. Most of these outrage inducing times when someone is shot and killed by police the “victim” did something to warrant it. There’s a statistic that states black people are 3-4 times more likely to be shot and killed by police. But what people fail to mention via cherry picking is that black people are also around 3-4x more likely to violently engage a cop. What a weird coincidence. A group that accounts for a disproportionate amount of our gun homicides and are statistically much more likely to violently engage a cop also happens to be slightly more likely to be killed by them? That’s totally, totally systematic racism guys.
