We just have to accept anyone with a decent build and pray theyre not trash. This is an issue SMG can easily solve, yet they choose not to on purpose. This is because they want to protect their high investment players. People who live on the game or whale super hard to have those insane 1590 characters with full lvl 10s get into any lobby they want instantly. Never get gatekept and therefore have a much easier time clearing the raid. If we had performance metrics no one would give a damn about your build. Who cares if you’re juiced if you’re only doing 2m dps and are the first to die in 50% of your pulls. Suddenly there’s less incentive to grind or whale. Good players can find other good players and raids are less frustrating and clear easier. Don’t eat up that bullshit about the community becoming toxic or gatekeeping if we could see performance. That’s just propaganda to hide the real reason, which is because it makes SMG more money doing it this way. The community is gonna gatekeep and be toxic regardless. They already are lol.
