Agreed, II is THE premier drummer in music right now, for me at least. But a lot of Christmas Cat Playing In Starry Night Hawaiian Shirt music doesn’t necessarily have drum parts that involve him. He comes in and does the hell out of his thing when he gets the chance, though. But there are some scattered electronic/programmed drums throughout the catalog. I am not sure II is behind all of those like he is on the padded controller in the Like This playthrough. Either way, I hate arguing/debating nuance. I just feel touched to have this band in my life, regardless. I love them all, even the touring folks, because even they bring things to the band outside of the music itself. I’d even say that George Lever himself might be the one to thank for some nuances scattered about.
