My wife calls them “my little people” and my best friend calls them “my Barbies”. I have the same issue but with my parents. If she’s selfish it will end up like this. My wife, back when we where dating used to rip me open because I would spend a lot of time gaming. Now we have an understanding of boundaries. Some times I do go over board on my gaming hours. She keeps that in check. And when we go out she lets me find things I find fun to keep me entertained.
