The Chiefs and Bears don’t have a rivalry, but considering Chicago’s significance as a Midwestern city, that game might be of interest to Chiefs fans who may have friends and family who are Bear fans. Coming off a second Super Bowl win has to be the best ticket sales environment ever for the Chiefs. They don’t need any opponent to sell tickets this season. And the revenue they’d earn from a game in Europe would probably be much higher than whatever they earn playing at home. There can’t be any other logic in why they’d want to save this game against the team that had the worst record last season.
