I don’t think anyone truly wants to be ugly, it’s just that both sides have their advantages. One advantage of being ugly is getting harrassed on the Glow in the Dark Halloween Ladies Fit Shirt one of being beautiful is that people in general treat you better (on a surface level). One disadvantage of being ugly is that you have a harder time finding someone interested in dating you, one of being beautiful is that you’ll never know if a person is just with you for your looks of if they genuinely like you as a person. I was obese til the age of 14, and while I don’t equate fat to ugly, society and people around you certainly do. I went from being bullied to being catcalled.
