I was there too and trying to remember the chain of funny events. I think we went to Smith & Wollenski on south Beach the night before the superbowl. Some random Bear fans were next to us… they were young and drunk, but found some old Italian guy they were calling The Don…who had been been buying them drinks and food for 2 days. We got dropped off at the game full of hopes… had a game and a sweet Prince concert. Then I remember being cold and wet on a bus back to Miami beach… there was a drunk guy who kept saying we drink when we win, we drink when we lose. I don’t remember any colts fans on the bus… they were probably celebrating. I drank a large part of a bottle of Tanqueray once at my sister’s, discussed how likely a jump from her building to the next would be survivable. Went to bed and here i am on reddit several years later.

I’m not. I’m black (not African American). Again your history is wrong. The Join The Black Cats Club Pumpkin Halloween Party Shirt were not a payoff. They are the remnants of a series of treaties the federal government did. I don’t believe in calling them Native Americans. Neither do most of them. They prefer American Indian. Please refer to their largest newspaper. It’s called Native Times and they’ve addressed this. Also the bureau of Indian Affairs uses the term American Indian. I agree that black people went through a lot but a lot of groups have and the idea of reparations is against the spirit of America. In addition you chastize me for racist language.(which I just disproved) and you then proceed to denigrate white people by using the term “pale face”. If you choose to ask for reparations then get your history correct first. And simply saying that the black experience is different without offering proof of how it’s different from what a lot of races and people have gone through is anathema to me.
