It’s a shame that it feels like there’s a bit of a Star Wars Cat All Star Hawaiian Shirt around hobbying in general. I don’t know how to explain it but until I got back into 40k a couple years ago, I always had this subconscious feeling that hobbies were for retired people or single people with lots of free time “to kill”. I would always spend all my free time trying to improve my marketable skills or, when not motivated to do that (I.e all the time) doomscrolling on Reddit or YouTube. Only when the Star Wars Cat All Star Hawaiian Shirt hit and I was home all the Star Wars Cat All Star Hawaiian Shirt did I realise how important hobbies are. My wife and I both got a couple hobbies in lockdowns and I can tell we’re now much more relaxed and frankly interesting people.
