I think the Sushi Chef Cat T Shirt medium is instead of wishing we were uglier, would be wishing that men would just leave women alone no matter what we look like…period. I’m sorry for all of your struggles and I’m sorry that people have invalidated that for you. I will say, though, I have always been a “pretty girl” and I was bullied out of my high school for it. Mostly by boys starting untrue rumors that they had done x or y with me and I was labeled a slut. Fast forward to my 20s, I still deal with men harassing me and if I ignore them or reject them, I’m sent really vulgar, disgusting messages. A guy once sent me a whole message about how he’d like to find me and r*or me with a broomstick for having the Sushi Chef Cat T Shirt to reject him. English policy towards Ireland was surely genocidal with the desire to depopulate, if you look at the Sushi Chef Cat T Shirt of their actions and not just focus on those who came to America. Supporting Irish people and what they endured doesn’t subtract from the suffering of African Americans; Jews, Roma and slavs (and other groups) under Hitler, Ukrainians under Stalin, the peoples occupied by the Japanese in WWII, or the native americans by the US government. Could have T-shirts supporting any of these groups and it shouldn’t subtract from the valididty of the Sushi Chef Cat T Shirt movement and the need for radical systemic changes. I do get irritated with the ‘all lives matter’ thing, although there probably are people who say it who aren’t disingenious… I’d assume most use it in bad faith.
