I don’t give af what anyone says, the defending for the Japanese Cat Shirts goal was egregiously bad from Holding. Haaland treats him like an absolute training cone and play the ball off under minimal pressure. Everytime Holding is in that line up we have to tactically defend 20 yards back, giving up our offensive pressure because 1v1 he’s absolutely awful and even worse when he tries to step up to win the ball or cut out plays he’s so painfully slow he misses the ball or is dribbled past and he leaves us exposed. He has been Johan Djourou/Mikael silvestre levels of bad and having to play him as our backup has cost us our rightful achievements two years running. At least this summer we can finally get rid of him and get some real depth at cb

He may get the nod in ‘28, but I doubt he’ll have endeared himself to anyone outside of his Republican base. He’s got to win over more people than just the Japanese Cat Shirts if he wants to be a real candidate. One of Trumps “strengths” was that he brought in a lot of non-voters to cast their ballots for the Republicans. DeSantis doesn’t have that charisma,and Trumps historic loss as the incumbent shows people aren’t as open to political carney tricks as Republicans would hope. Bear in mind, the Republican base it quite literally dying off. The generation which is replacing them, Millennials and Gen Z, are famously Left-leaning and hate the GOP’s guts. Dems have racked up quite a few impressive wins in the post-Trump years largely because of shifting demographics and an energized, angry, young voting bloc. Personally, I think he’ll get to the Oval Office. So long as we all do out part in the meantime and vote, I think the GOP at large is screwed.
