Had someone just few weeks before HM release drop their blue on 5+6+7+middle because they were two on 7 and one started going to 5 late, the guy had title, I presume had been clearing since NM release, still didn’t understand the basics of blue to the point he knew he could 7 7 without problem. A restart was also called from that showing most of the players didn’t understand it was fine since we could 7 7 7 next cycle and still clear without issue. The guides I saw for NM meteors also never explained the only meteor thing you need to learn for NM, which is the 7-pattern, if you know 7-pattern you know everything, not any “wave 1 blue meteors like this, 2, 3… 8, 9, 10” just few simple words to explain 7 pattern and done, so meteor explanation on guides has been bad. Since seemingly less than 10% understand NM 7-pattern.

I hear you but if OP does even some basic research on seizure auras and if they see it could possibly match their parent they can go at it with the means to show how they’re being affected.
